There was a wicked wind again, so the strategy was divide and conquer. Adam, Ryan and I set up a pace line and just kept riding it in.
Some cyclists from the '08 tour met us at the London sign to welcome and encourage. Other family and friends had a reception in the park, 8km from our stop.
Very good friends from Waterloo decided to meet me in London because they couldn't be there on Friday. Jacinda and Terry and their beautiful children arranged for a hot shower, free laundry and a glass of wine on her uncle's porch. I of course didn't take any pictures, but thorough enjoyed catching up, being away from the crowd, and feeling spoiled all afternoon.
